Nokia C2-03

Nokia C2-03 is a dual-SIM Touch and Type phone. It is one of two such phones recently announced by Nokia, the other being the Nokia C2-06. Feature-wise and design, the Nokia C2-03 and the Nokia C2-06 are the same. The only difference is in the quality of the material, colour options, and price. The Nokia C2-03 is the cheaper of the two models and features a 2.6-inch touchscreen, a 12-key slide-out keypad, 2.0MP camera, 32GB memory card support, Nokia Ovi Maps, push email, instant messaging, social media support, hot swappable SIM (SIM2), and a very loud loudspeaker.Nokia C2-03 is a dual-SIM phone. Like the Nokia X1-01, C2-00, C2-06 and other upcoming dual-SIM phones from Nokia, the Nokia C2-03 features dual-standby, which means users, can receive calls and SMS on both the active SIM and standby SIM. That's not all, the secondary SIM slot is hot swappable, meaning that you can remove and insert SIM cards into the secondary SIM slot without having to switch-off (reboot) the phone, a very convenient feature.

Nokia C2-03 can save and remember settings for up to five SIM cards, so your messages, ringtones, and other settings for each SIM are available each time you slot the SIM, so no need to reenter settings for each SIM you slot in. This feature combined with its hot swappable feature makes the C2-03 more than just a dual-SIM phone.

A dual-SIM phone empowers you; you can take advantage of reduced call rates, without losing your existing line. If one network is erratic in a given location, you can switch to another network with better signal, keeping you in touch with those that matter to you.

A Touchscreen combined with keypad

 

Nokia C2-03 has the same display as the Nokia C2-02 and the C2-06. The display is a 2.6-inch touchscreen offering a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Like both phones, it also features a slide-out standard 12-key keypad. Touchscreen is easier and faster when selecting menu and options and navigating interface, while keypads are still favoured by people who are used to one-thumb typing. This makes it great for messaging.

A 2.0MP Camera

Nokia C2-03 comes with a 2 megapixels camera with video recording. The camera is a modest one featuring 4X digital zoom.

Network, Data, and Internet browsing

Nokia C2 Touch and Type, dual SIM is a GSM phone supporting data services on GPRS/EDGE. It features a new efficient Nokia browser, which compresses data before sending it to your phone, reducing your data cost. The browser supports WAP 2.0/XHTML/HTML as well as Flash Lite. Nokia C2-03 comes preloaded with Flash Lite 3.0.

Nokia C2-03 features short-range wireless connectivity via Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR. It also comes with 2.0 high speed interface.

Nokia C2-03 is now available in Nigeria. The retail price for the Nokia C2-03 is around N16,000.
